It was windy, but the fishing was good.  We fished from our dock because we did not feel like getting blown around on the yaks.

Saturday was the best day of fishing.  We started fishing around 3:30 in the afternoon and the first fish was landed within 10 minutes.  Then two more fish were landed in the following 1/2 hour.  My last cast of the day was around 4:00pm and I hooked up a big one that put a good fight (see pics below).  My best guess at the weight was 6 or 7 lbs maybe bigger.  I compared the fishes weight to my brother-in-laws 5-1/2 pound chihuahua and the fish was hevier. I guess I should get a scale.   All these fish were caught on a lavender shad crank bait.

Sunday we decided to fish at night and go after catfish with jumbo night crawlers.  My falther-in-law landed a nice one roughly 10lbs.  Unfortunately that was the only one caught that night.

On Monday my nephew land three nice early morning bass drop shoting a motor oil senko.

All in all it was a great weekend for fishing.  Here are a couple of pic of the keep that I caught Friday.

Sledge my Man, Im pickin up what youre puttin down.
I have been fishing at Blue as of lately and doing ok, But dam those keeper bass are deep soon as the sun comes up.

I remember last summer seeing one of those docks full of slabs down by the lodge but I did not have a jig on the boat. (not tule perch)

I drove by yeterday lots of yacks out, saw one yack with what looked like a tall flag. was that you?

Lower blue looks like it had a nice alge bloom going on, with a crap load of carp on the surface. Always wanted to fish that lake.
