Back from idaho non fish

 Hunted 6 days archery no elk . Had a great time called in 2 bulls but winded me . finally on the last morning this 220 pounder stepped out for me. Beautiful country Payett lake McCall

Great pics! Don't know a damn thing about hunting elk with a bow. Were you in a blind, a tree stand, or just stalkin' 'em on the ground? How far of a shot was it? One shot one kill?

No the spot is not blown up there is millions of acres to hunt and most don`t have the energy to go where I went, a lot of it you have to hang on to bushes and trees to keep from sliding back down. I stalk ,I can`t sit still, and it was a 25yd shot.
The pic with the Lake was almost 500ft straight up climb.After hiking 3/4 mile in.
I found Moose also but the pics. are so dark u can't see them.

Nice, haven't been deer or elk hunting since the late 70's in WY... and never bow...that's got to be like fly fishing...purist!!! WTG

McCall whats that close to??? showed my dad the pictures he said he thinks it's up the western end of state??? promise i won't blow it up... well by the time i typed this my dad whips out his map and points it out!!!
