Checked the Bay Regs--all Perch that are legal have a bag limit of 5 except Shiners which is 20--so the couple was indeed poaching if they took 100. There is no commercial fishing allowed in the Bay with the closure of the last fishery--Herring. Called CalTip but got no answer, I'll stay on it and see if DFG enforcement will call GG Bridge monitors and have them give them a heads up if they see that again. If I get closed out due to MLPA zone, I be damned if I'll let poachers fish if I can help stop them.
