Went fishing for the first time at Rancho Seco Reservoir.

I got there around 9am and the wind was blowing already. There were only about 5-7 boaters in the lake fishing

Picture #1: Getting set to launch.

Picture #2: This is the first BASS that I caught by the pump intake area.

Picture #3: Second Bass that I caught between the pump intake and the dam.

Hooked both these fish in about 1hr from launch. I proceed to hook another 3 smaller Bass. Was out of the reservoir around 1 in the afternoon.

Sorry for the crappy pictures. Was using my camera phone. I prefer using a dSLR and process the RAW image, but don't want to get the camera wet.

Al,

I went there yesterday and had for the first time my fishfinder....I only caught 2 little bass. I see a lot of fish at the pump structure, but no hook up there.

Does the wind there ever slows down?
