Lots of no shows today. :smt013 Had a great day on some of the FAC water I have ever had, anywhere!  Hooked 3, lost at below yak, using ultra light and tiny hooks.  Buddy landed first yak butt at 29.5".  Lots of take downs, and lots of scratched baits.  I was not using a stinger, or would have hooked up with probably at least 5 butts. Had one take down, that just peeled line off hard for about three seconds, then nada.  All in all, great day on the water.  Gabe's butt is a dandy for a first yak butt.  Heading back out Friday, not inviting anyone formally, but if you want to show up, baitNbeer, Darius, etc., I will have bbq stuff ready.  Going back to my standard rigs, no need to try the impossible anymore, I want fish.  Lots of bait in the water, and even a few furbags around.  95 Degrees at 2:00 when we left!  Blistering day on the bay.  Pics are on 35 mm, can't post.

Way to get out there.

I'm one of the no-shows. Sorry about that. I was up all night with a sick girlfriend.

Glad to hear that there's still some halis around. Yesterday was definitely the tide for it! Still bummed I had to miss out, but my GF is awesome and I didn't mind taking care of her yesterday.

It is Andy, but we are committed to Paradise on Friday.  Rock, no prob on the GF pampering, I understand.  Gabe and I are hitting it early on Friday, off water by noon so I can get him back at a reasonable time. I will be picking up shiners at Loch, but not wanting to drop a lot of coin to stock that cove with bait at the end of the day.  I don't mind picking it up, but call me if you can't make it, pm me for my #, and if I see it on a site for free phone porn, I will whoop some butt! (not halibut)  :smt044

Roger that.  Looked at the tide, there is a 4.5' swing.  Not the best, but time wise, we will be fishing the incoming the whole time right up until lunch.  Should get some action anyhow.
