CA state garage sale

Went to the CA state garage sale this morning hoping to find a great deal on used laptop but they're all sold out when I got there!  Took pictures of this place and some interesting items.

Try to figure-out what did they (our goverment) do with this pull chair?

I wonder how many of those computers still have our personal data on them.
