the wind will blow EVERYDAY!!  it is located DIRECTLY across from the G.G.Bridge.

if the wind is forcasted to be non-exsistent, then it is fishable. This weekend that is not the case.....IT'S GONNA BLOW!  try Paradise(google paradise park in marin county) it is usually calmest there(and you won't be the only one there, hiding from it.

it was red hot last year. the wind will blow. You can luck out and get some AM (really early) time in. But time it so the wind blows you back. I actually saw two guys out there a few years ago in a canoe! I was so shocked I asked them if the needed any help. They looked at me funny and said no we're fine. Crazy!

Yeah me too. I witnessed a tandem kayak dumped two kayakers because of a
strong windchops. Within a few minutes, they had to be rescued by PB.

Always windy out that way. I used to fish from the pier a lot many years back. The flies were crazy. They would buzz around even with all that wind. We caught a lot of sand sharks out there and a few leopards. Sting rays were also very abundant.

I learned how to fish on the pier.  Started there in the late 60's.  Caught many starry flounder and various perch there.  A friend who had a 16' Grumman canoe and I would go out to the old section (out past the current section, 1000') and climb up onto it and fish for perch through the holes in the pier.  Theres not too much left of the old section nowadays.
