Anybody know of a good reel repair guy in Norcal?  Im in Windsor so closer to that the better.   I was going thru my freshwater gear this morning and my old trusty mitchell 410.. (got this from my dad in the early 70s and I know its ancient but the thing has caught more fish for me than any other) and the bail isnt clicking back over after casting.   Pretty sure its one of those little gears inside but I am not sure.  Would love to get it working again!

Everything else works fine on it and I can use it, but have to put the bail over by hand after casting..

We got an expert here on reel repair/maintenance and his name is Alan/Alantani.  I would send him a PM if I were you.

Yup, call Alan and then mail it to him.  He is in the south bay.

Mike rebuilt my calcutta 250  and he only charged 18 bucks labor. New ceramic bearings, complete drag assembly, other mics parts. He also has a drop off at the UPS store across from the OPS in RP. Plus he sounds like a good guy with great service. Mikes reel repair. Just like Mcfish posted.
