My Digital Camera got soaked couple months ago and I've been looking for another camera.  Meanwhile I've come across a new product that was introduced to me.  I'd figured I'd share with the rest of the folks that carry cameras with them.  Check out there other Waterproof Camera & Camcorder cases too.

Check this one out too.  http://www.dicapac.com/new_eng/02_products/sub01.html

While it may not be obvious, you will lose a certain degree of clarity by taking pictures with a camera in the bag. And, even as clear as the bag may look, it's plastic. It will become less clear with use (and abuse).

Hojoma, it's hard to see on the picture, but the bag has a separate hard lens section so your pictures are not shot through the flexible material.

I got a similar product and I like it. Found the best price on Amazon, search on 'Dicapac' and figure out which size fits your camera.  For $30-35 it was a lot cheaper than getting a waterproof camera and I found a use for my old digital camera after I upgraded to something newer and tinier that I didn't want to risk.  Plus it floats and gives a little bit of impact protection.  Basically a mini dry bag with a lens section.

Tested it overnight weighted down in a bucket of water and it kept the water out.  It's a little tricky to operate the small camera controls through the bag.  I mean to put a little filler in there so my camera lens doesn't ever shift out of line with the bag lens.

Thanks!  I've been looking for something to hold my camera incase it was exposed to some moisture/water.

Just an FYI for anyone with a Canon, or anyone in the market for a waterproof camera. Canon makes a hard case for all their point-and-shoots. I have a Elph with the Canon hard case, it is well protected in the case, and depending on the model, you can buy a camera and case for less than a dedicated 'waterproof' camera from other makers. you can also spend far more if you get into the pro range stuff, but there are many options.
