Anyone have one laying around. I'd like to have something to play in the surf. If there is a better ride for this activity please let me know.

Eric, let me know if you plan on yak surfing - I'm up for it. I have access to a Wilderness System Kaos....I hear it surfs pretty good. The OK Mysto is suppose to be another surfing yak that on the market....haven't tried that one yet.

I am gonna toss it in the truck fro Davenport. Is that yak surfing friendly? Never been there. Otherwise I need to figure out some locations that will be fun and that I won't get the stick eye from surfers. I was thinking cowells. Anyone have any recommendations?

I did its in great condition and the best part the paddle was from REI and still had the tags on it. So I returned it for $65 so the boat ends up costing me $140. Thanks again Ben for sending me the link I owe you a cold beer!

haha, that's excellent eric, being able to return the paddle - sweet!

don't worry about the beer - i don't drink!  just consider that payback for the fish whacker earlier this year (which by the way has not hit a fish yet..)

If you want to kayak surf Davenport...stay to the North side. The Surfers usually stay to the South and are very protective of their spot.

* I don't know what your yak surfing experience is but I think Davenport is not for the beginner. Surfers Beach in HMB would be a better place to learn = IMO.
