Anyone know of a place to launch from between Dumbarton bridge and the railroad tressle. I would like to do some sturgeon fishing down in that area. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can launch under the Dumbarton bridge on either side. West side is a quick exit near the end of the bridge then drive on to the fishing pier.  On the eastside the drive is a little farther, thru the Don Edwards wildlife refuge, but the parking is better, and has an outhouse.

Thought about this spot allot but never made it out form there,

Did a yakless, recon there a few weeks ago on the eastside, talked to lots of pier guys, not even a shark that day, but they did say they occasionally get a sturegon from the pier, but mostly sharks and rays.

I had business at EPA city hall yesterday. They had a big poster up on the options for creating Cooley Landing Park. The project has been in the works for about 8 years. sounds like they are finally getting close. If so we will finally have a decent place to launch for Dino fishing the Dumbarton trestle area. I didn't remember the exact web address and couldn't find it via the city's site. If anyone gets more info let us know.
