Hey guys,
Bloodbath here! I was out with Mcag and the boys earlier, and thought to myself, I would love to spear a 28lb lingcod! Cabbie! Anyways, fish of that caliber need to be observed underwater. I will be there tomorrow 10/11 to see if I can get something. Please join in! Pigeon Point stairway about 8:30-9, tide will be coming up, yup!

One of the biggest lingcod I've ever seen underwater was at Franklin Pt. in about 20'.  I shot my pole spear at it and it bounced off its head.  I found it on another dive, sitting there in the same slot in the rocks and I hauled off and tried to just stab it.  It wriggled free of my spear and swam away.  I was heartbroken and thought of that fish for many many nights.  16 years later I still have a vivid picture in my mind of that fish and the very spot that I dove on it.

Go get 'em, Dude.   :smt001
