NEWS FLASH!!!! :smt024

As of this morning, Chuck and Ken (Loomy) are fishing the area for Sturgeon.

Chuck has just broken my "rare green sturgeon record"  :smt013  He caught one 36 inch GS on peeled grass shrimp. He will post pics as soon as he gets the chance.

They are both currently fishing in 21 ft of water. He had mentioned that there seems to be a lot of holes / humps in the area. Kingfish and sharks are abundant as well  :smt011

...stand by for the end of the day report  :smt025

I was just reading some Coastside reports and everyone there was saying herring was the top bait.
Looking forward to the upcoming news update.

I just took my lunch break and drove over to Oyster Point to pick up some bait for tomorrow. There were 8 boats anchored straight across the pier. The Lady at the Bait shop said the herring are around the area and a few sturgeon were caught yesterday by the boaters.  :smt023

Maybe this warm weather has got them actively feeding. If you talk to Chuck, ask him what are the conditions like over there.
