so i want to put a fishfinder on my yak ive been searching around and i see tons of ideas for the 13 and 15 foot ocean kayaks, but then again they have that extra spot made for a ff.  I however have the smaller model, and was wondering if anybody has ever put a finder on the trident 11. i think i know which finder i want but not sure where i should mount it. seeing that the deck space is sparse, right now im thinking its going to be either right in my crotch , or maybe on one of the hatch lids.? if any one can help give any ideas, pics, stories, suggestions. i would be super appreciative. i thank you all for all the posts i have read. ive already seen a ton of great advice on this forum. however my internet connection is about as good as, well never mind its not good as anything my landlords wireless conn. boots me every ten mins. :smt009 so i rarely get to surf enough to find everything im looking for. so any thing at all that i dont have to search for an hour for will help especially cuz an hour of search time might take all day for me, i usually have to click a link then walk away from my computer for 20 mins so i dont go crazy waiting.

thanks guys n gals
cant wait to rig it up and find some rock piles

I'd say as far fwd as you can get it. at the end of the tray area. or the space between that 'tray' and the hatch. Assuming you can still access the front hatch. You could also use a ram mount and that way you could rotate it out of the way. But get it fwd of your knees. Turning sideways will be a PITA. Hatch lid will/may present problems when you wanna access inside OTW.
