Took my 10 year old nephew Jack out on his madden voyage on Sunday, it was his first time in a kayak and he took to it like a duck to water. We did not catch any fish but we had a great time, I think his already hook you got to love the next generation :smt007, the maddens grows :smt044.

Glad you two had good time OTW.  Your nephew looks so comfortable padling the yak.  Good Karma for introducing kayak fishing to the next generation.  Thanks for the report and pictures Pat.

Pat

Looks like fun. Tough time of year to fish DV unless soaking bait for cats. When the WX gets better let's hit big blue again.

As I get older, I have to (with regrets) say the next generation "Rocks".  Keep up the good work.

That's great...thanks for the post!

Fishing with the next gen is a blast.  I got my nephews into a couple carp in Putah Creek (Davis) a few weeks ago.  Hope to get them onto some bigger water in the near future.
