Lake Del Valle Sunday

Took my 10 year old nephew Jack out on his madden voyage on Sunday, it was his first time in a kayak and he took to it like a duck to water. We did not catch any fish but we had a great time, I think his already hook you got to love the next generation , the maddens grows .

Frank its the new diet, trying to make the yak go faster so I can keep up with you if you ever get out and go fishing. You know Halibut are all most done .

Looks like fun. Tough time of year to fish DV unless soaking bait for cats. When the WX gets better let's hit big blue again.

Fishing with the next gen is a blast.  I got my nephews into a couple carp in Putah Creek (Davis) a few weeks ago.  Hope to get them onto some bigger water in the near future.
