To any of the newer guys out there, I just bought my first kayak a month and a half ago and it's a Cobra Marauder just like this. I test paddled several used kayaks and this was by far my favorite. I've been taking it out off La Jolla on the big blue and it's very stable, light enough to handle by myself, and it paddles at a pretty good clip. I feel like it's pretty ideal for my first kayak. I got mine with a seat, paddle, a drift sock, and some leashes for $700 which was a darn good deal down here. Anyways, just wanted to throw out a beginner's endorsement.
Be the guide.

In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.
