Good noob rod?

i own that calyspo mako combo, i picked mine up at kmart for 25 bucks 4 years ago. i have fished miles of beach and jetty not to mention all my yak fishing. that combo is still going strong, like any of your gear if you take care of it it will last. I would recommend this setup to anyone. people get to caught up in the fancy gear trend and sometimes they miss a good thing that did'nt require them to take a second loan on their house.
