They're down in SB area, so I'm guessing it was filmed in Northern Channel Islands.

That's an even better idea!

Then you'd be able to coax that big ling out of his hiding spot and watch him hit your dangling bait or lure.  That would be fun to watch!

Sweet! Think that kid's going to be an engineer? These guys need to kayak fish. I bet they could come up with some innovative new gadgets for us to use.

i think marmite (Q) is working on one of these.  except his has laser beams, harpoons and is operated by brain waves.

In the end how much would THAT set ya back?????

  Too cool for school!    I snorkeled for the first time recently in Hawaii, and I was thinking I should try it in Monterey/Carmel, but that has a bunch of complications, gear, dive buddies, etc.  Maybe I'll go for this instead of getting wet! 
   I think the Sacto gang ought to pass a law requiring day licenses to operate these while angling, set the amount somewhere between enuf to protect the fish from complete wipe out and the amount needed to cover the deficit!

Have you sent the request to borrow for scouting?
