I've decided to go ahead and buy a rudder for my prowler. I went out on my first ocean trip and found that my p-15 gets pushed around quit a bit.  I've been told the o.k. rudders aren't all that desireable so I was looking for some advise on other brands.  Someone once recommended the wilderness rudder. Also need a good site to buy it from.

bought a rudder for my trident 15 and 13 from kayakfishingstuff.com.  Used the feather craft rudder and the toe pilot upgrades.  Works well, but pricy.

Good move getting the rudder. My first boat didn't have one so I didn't know what I was missing. Got one now and what a difference. FWIW - I have the stock OK rudder. The only issue I have is it takes a strong pull to raise and lower. Otherwise it has performed very well.
