Some folks will do anything to avoid using a kayak. I have to admit though they got style.

I have seen Hungarians use something similar to get out to their fishing stands on lake Balaton.

thats what i was thinking this was going to be about, very interesting, so do they go out at low tide and fish till next low tide? or is this a protected little reef area? cameron
