Plan on joining the group at Paradise tomorrow.

How do you keep shiners alive?

I have a three inch tube I drag, works with bullheads. Will it work with shiners?

How many shiners should I bring?

the tube should work fine. just don't overcrowd them. I had a hand full of baits last all day on on Sat.

Many folks also use this type for live bait.  There are a few similar makes and models. Clip to your kayak and throw it over the side while drifting.  Have kept 10-12 shiners alive all day using this type.  If you're planning to fish 1/2-full day I'd take at least 6 shiners, I prefer to have 8-10.  All depends on how many hits, loss to weeds, releases you have that day.  I always prefer to have a few extra than to run out of bait.
