I've fished Fort Ross in the PB, but, I've never fished the ocean from my yak before. It seems like a perfect weekend to try it.
I'll take any pointers you guys can give me.
It looks like Saturday has the lowest swell forcast.
See you there.

Saturday sounds great. I'm going to try and make it. Anybody have a camp spot with room for a tent? I can also sleep in the back of the truck. If I have to I'll drive home that day.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

I haven't been there before.
Can you tell me how far I have to carry my yak & stuff to the beach, or can I drive close?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, Ft. Ross you can drive to the edge of the sand and unload, then take your car back up the hill to park it. At the edge of the sand you still have to make your way to the water's edge, about 100 yards. Wheels or an extra hand are needed.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.
