My son and I took the two seater over to cash in on a few of the last weeks of trout fishing (locally). I have never fished there before. We trolled around  for a while with nothing to show except a solid 5lb catfish that took a worm trolled OTW @ 19ft. We did see 3 guys in an aluminum boat catching and releasing trout. One of the guys yelled over he had caught 16. The BIG problem was they were netting the fish and then handling them with a rag; A death sentence for any trout.

Thanks for the report snapperhead. The problem sometime with just a recreational
fisherman is that, I think they are not exposed enough to know any better on how
to handle these fish carefully so they can survive once released.

That is a nice size cat fish that you caught.  Thanks for the report.
