I finally got a chance to Fly Fish for Bass.  The experience was incredible because of the location.  It was way back in on a private Ranch you enter North from Casa de Fruta.  I have always seen this country from the HiWay but finally had a chance to see a little bit of it.  Wow, you just don't realize how untouched and beautiful those thousands or millions of acres are once you get away from the HiWay.  The only problem is the operative word I used (Private!).  You are either invited or you don't go.

I caught my first Large Mouth about a month ago (7 lbs) and frankly was a little disappointed in how little a fight the fish put up (Oh Well, you caught me.  Just don't hurt me and I will come in easily).  It was a very different experience on a light Fly Rod.  Fight, Fight, I win, you win, finally coming to the float tube.  Our guess, 5 lbs and worth every bit of the experience.

Nice work!  Looks like a perfect pond for a yak too. :smt002   Let me guess, a fly fishing club?

You got it!  When I say private, I mean private.  I was fortunate to be included.
