Launched at 5:30 am, some big rollers coming in here and there.. But, my 2nd launuch, and made it safe!

Fished pleasure point, the capitola reef, I paddled way out to the buoy in front of camp, then back inside by the wharf. I threw everything i had at em for a big fat ZERO. No fish onboard. Some swells rolling through, but its was glassy and super fun!

Came back in around 11 or so and there were a few big sets pounding the little Cap beach, I thought about exiting the water at the Cap dock, but that think looked pretty crazy when the swells ripped through, I dont think I could have stand on it when the swells rolled through, so I waited it out, got my chance and made a nice landing, STOKED! Highlight of my day I guess..

Sounds like EWB KILLED IT! Sorry EWB, I forgot to put batteries in my new radio! So needless to say I couldn't here you! Wish we had hooked up!

Anyway, no fish, fun day! Lots of bait in the water, no problem jigging them up as I needed them.

Porky

Good report, too bad you didn't pick up anything. But on the positive side getting out there and making successful launch and landings is always great for the experience.

Let's get out next weekend, maybe try stillwater if you like.
Or we can give another run at the buts around capitola or santa cruz.

I will be in touch. It almost killed me to see all the reports while i was in LA all weekend.

Stillwater right off pebble beach.

Easy launch and good fishing, probably a bunch of the usual crowd there.
Some of the prettiest scenery around.

We'll see if we can get a crew together so you can see how ncka rolls.
