Fished Monterey today with SoulHigh831, Beautiful day on the bay minus the constant flow of boats :smt013 Talk about traffic, every 5-15 minutes had to face another boat wake, nonstop all day. Pat earned the trophy of the day with a nice 27", 7 1/2 lb. ling. He deserved it too. It had been on his wish list after catching many underlings on previous outings. Right on, Pat! I caught some nice blues, olives, and kelpies. Met e2g and his son free diving. Turned out to be a fairly decent day on the water. Till next time

Yes, sir, and I think that will be my final trip there on a sunny, FAC weekend. The boats were in full force.

nice meeting you guys out there.  Will post our dive experience tonight when I get some pics off the camera.  One nice thing of a big yak is that if you hang your legs over the side, I think a tanker could by and not phase you.  What scares the hell out of me is in the fog when you hear a PB going full throttle and you know he cant see squat!
