Clinic today.  Four newbies who did themselves proud.  Jean, Frank, Jonathan and Peter from Reno, with his own boat hobie.

We went to the kelpbeds by cannery row.  It was super slow all morning till we found some suspended blues around 11.  Then it was fish after fish, hail mary.  Other mixed fish included gopher, copper.

Everyone who wanted fish to eat went home with 3/4 limits for the day.

Glass in the morning and the real wind held off till our paddle back to MBK, at our backs.

Pretty perfect.

Allen

See why you are our "Go To Guy".  We now have 4 newbies that will be part of our expanding community (which by the way I am very proud to be part of).

Allen mentioned that I should formally join the list instead of lurking as a guest, even if I'm from Reno, NV.  I thoroughly enjoyed the class. It was my first time fishing on the Ocean.  I thought there's suppose to be waves and surf but it was like glass out there.

I didn't get any photos of fish but here's one of Allen putting on his super secret rig.

Allen, turns out the long nosed pliers are really just too small, I'll probably bring a pipe wrench next time  :smt001

Thanks again,
Pete
