Hobie Adventure Island Fishing?

Has anyone tried fishing with the Hobie Adventure Island?

no but just bought the adventure yesterday and inquired about the cost of the sail conversion kit... I think it was a whooping $1800..yikes, cost more than the damn boat.

No, But I can see the advantages...

The Hawaiian Islands, Australia, They have been doing it for a while now, you can get a some info by logging into the Hobie forum or go down to the bottom of NCKA and check out the Hawaii thread or search a Australian KayakFishing site...

These guys are really living it up....

Thanks for information guys!  Really appreciate this forum.  I was able to do more research and it has really helped me make a decision.  CK in Oakland had a demo for sale and I jumped on it.  Checked with Hobie and I still get the full 2 yr hull warranty with it.  It was in great shape and I tried it out at the Oakland estuary.
