Tide Charts-How to Interpret?

Hi everybody, I am new to the boards and am seriously looking into getting a yak after many years of tube fishing for LMB.  Born and reside in the City and always wanted to try my luck out at Ocean Beach for perch or anything that will strike my hook. 
Many people suggest going out 1-2 hours before the tide but I am not sure what location to use in saltwatertides.com table? Do I use Ocean Beach, outer coast if I plan to fish Ocean Beach around Pacheco as a reference for the tides or is there another resource that I can use that more accurately reflects the tides on Ocean Beach?
BTW, any tips are most appreciated for hook-ups.  I primarily like to use grubs because it keeps me moving (it can get pretty cold standing around).

Tides at the Golden Gate should be close enough.
