Skunked!

Took a friend to the port of sac last night for his maiden voyage on a yak, the wind was terrible, and he fought to stay in line.  I marked a lot of fish, but they had lock jaw.  We tried for crappie, but the wind pushed us into the pilings, and if you stopped to put a minnow on, the wind would blow you 50 feet before you got rigged up.  It was misserable.  We beached it and bank fished until midnight, and Rudy caught a small catfish as he was reeling in to go home.  I got released to go back to work today, so the skunk will last until this weekend when I go out with my kids and redeem ourselves.
