Sacto Shad---striper Tues. (non-yak)

We tried for more shads at freeport today but my friend only managed One .  We left freeport to try our luck at discovery park but none of the guys there were catching anything so we decided to go back to freeport and get some anchovies for our second line and this is the result.   I wish I could say this was mine but it was not my day.  I did help in netting it though.

Did you guys end up seeing the sea lion down at Discovery today. He's one big SOB.

we only stayed for 5 minutes just to check out the action at discovery.  We asked the park ranger if we can check first before paying parking and she was nice enough to let us in.  We did not see the sea lion today but we did see him last week at freeport.

Very nice fish there for your friend Allen. Good job on netting it for him.
I bet you can't wait for the RF season opening at Fort Bragg?

soooo many shakers...it kinda got tiring catching the little guys until this big one came along.
hey jed, are you taking the drive up there on opening day?

If the opening day is on a Friday, I will. Thanks for taking me there last year for
my very first taste of the big blue.
