This is the only stuff that said it would work as glue but I had mixed results. It claims to glue starboard and other polys.

Lexal or 3M 5200

Lexal works very well. I copied FishHunter's FF install and that thing isn't going anywhere.

Is there any way we could figure out how to charge the AA in the case. I hate taking them out and loading them in the charger...

These guys can probably fix you up with something.

Thanks Backcounty!!!..this post has been very helpfull.

Also thanks Tote for sharing the link on where to buy the 10-AA holder.

Anyone have a good idea for a cable hole?  I don't want to goop it because I want the cable removable and the hole plugable when the FF is not on the Yak.

Thanks again ....here is what I have so far.

Yes...  I've made my own battery packs from 10 AA's and it works great!  Only issue is you need a charger that will stop when they are charged.

Intalled yesterday and tried out today.....Nice option for a plugable hole with compression around wires, that is the perfect size for the Eagle 245.
West Marine Purchase.

I'm not sure how much that brand/connector is at West Marine but another option is Sealcon they are usually a couple of bucks. You can also get the inserts for multiple wires and thicknesses.
