MBK or Stillwater south Friday 5/8

Looks like the swell is laying down, anyone want to go fishing?

I am desperate to get out there and may well join you. Will make a final call tomorrow.

 I would love to get out and fish. I think we are seeing the calm before the storm today. Forecast doesn't look promising but I will keep my fingers crossed for good conditions. Lost my construction job so I have plenty of spare time.

I was just out in Monterey this afternoon and the conditions looked phenomenal!!! Lets hope it looks like this on Sat.

I'd be up for that. Just depends on the weather.  Time and place???

I can't make it Fri, but Saturday MBK looks good. What time is everyone heading out?

Can't make it.  helping someone move.  NOAA says winds 5-15 knt with a 3-7' swell.  Be careful.

Friday is looking better for me. We are doing mothers day stuff on Saturday. Let me know when you guys are heading out.

Conditions look pretty good for tomorrow. I am fine with a little swell, the wind is forecasted to come up in the afternoon either way. Looks like it will be sunny and glassy in the morning and is getting light by 5:30. I am going to shoot for a 6-6:30am launch at MBK and see if the halibut are biting down by the hotel. I just need to get out, fish and try to work the kinks out for the rest of the season. See you there. my call sign is solsrf1 and I will be monitoring ch#69. It looks like it's gonna be a bit bumpy for me. I'll try and get down there early next week if i can.

 Wind didn't come up as much as forecasted this afternoon. So looks like friday am might be doable
