Stanislaus de-stresser

My eldest is graduating from UOP this year as a music ed major. One of his requirements is a recital after which the parents provide a reception. Silly us, we decided to prepare the food ourselves . Wayyyy to much stress.

So I went out today and soaked some herring for striper for a couple hours w/o any luck and then headed to the weed mats for LMB. The bite was pretty good for a bit, and then turned off like someone had thrown a switch.

The unique thing is that all four of the fish I caught hit my senko as I lifted it off the bottom, not as it was descending or off the edge of the weed bed. And they took it very gently (hard to feel with my ultra-lite rod), not the freight train attacks that they usually use. For what it's worth.

Nice report...I've noticed the same senko bite on the Delta last time I was out.  NIce looking chunky bass!

Way to unwind, it sure is nice out there!!!!!! And congrats on the bonus of catching some nice fish!!!!!!!
