Pulled this snagle lip out of Patterson Lake in Diamond Springs. electric motor only private lake, wonder what got a hold of it!

I have seen hatchery trout with snub faces but never a bass,thats a fish for the memory bank,hard to top a catch like that. Did you release it to pass on the survival gene??

I did release it. A local yelled if I was catch-and-releasing and after I saw that I said hell-ya! Must be all that mine tallings as the lake is in the heart of the mother lode.
