In between gusting rain spells, the 60degF water looked greasy & great. Trolled grubs from surface down to a few feet in Heron and Swallow for nada. Flogged some striper marks for the same. The fewest PB's I've ever seen on a weekend, didn't see any of them hookup.

The boat inspection guy said they will inspect kayaks that have been rained on from the drive in, but you have to cover cockpits/hatches  or carry them upside down so the interiors remain dry.

He showed me a picture of some test plates they hung in San Justo, covered in mussels.

He also said that live minnows cannot be brought in; in PB's that have live bait in their wells, he will flunk them for admit.

Because the mussels at San Justo got there by hitching rides inside kayak hulls, I'm sure. :smt002
