Black Widow webs are STRONG. I have twice found small birds in them... I think they were just recently fledged.

I don't know what they are but I've seen tons of them that look like wolf spiders from the hill behind the house.  Every once in awhile a huge one will show up.

Nothing will get the heart going like waking with a start as one walks across your face during the night.

I'm in the process of moving and yesterday I moved my little outdoor fishing tool cabinet. I was joking with my brother that I didn't want to carry the side I had (the bottom) because I didn't want to get bit by a black widow.

Sure enough, when I put the cabinet in my truck and was able to see under the cabinet there was a fat black widow chillin' under the same little ledge that I put my hand under to move the thing.

To show my gratitiude for not biting me she now has a lovely home under the flower box in my backyard.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Does anyone else feel things crawling on them?   :smt009

For some reason black widows don't bother me, even though I know the hairy ones are harmless...

I don't even like crabs, really.  Exoskeletons are freaky.

Was just poking around in the garage and found this:  :smt009
