Mango once again got my lazy butt out the chair and out to do some ab diving.
We did not get in the water until early afternoon and there was just a little wind to deal with.  The swells were almost non existing so we try new areas.  The visibility was great!!!!!!!!  It was about 30 feet.  You could make out the abs real easy at 15 feet.  We took our time and got limits.  The 9"+ abs were not as thick as the 8"+ abs.  Good little caves but no lings and not many other fish either.  Great time .

Great timing.  This gorgeous weather is over.  Rain forcast for tomorrow and Saturday!  Thanks for the report.

aw for me it was always my love for zinfandel and an occasional sin of some sort throw in, but perhaps looking back at it maybe one helped with the other!

I had my first Zin, a 1982 "upper Alexander Valley", and fell in love.  It has been Cab and Zin for the last 25 years.  Now my "cellar is 85% Zin 14% cab and 1% for relatives.

Thank for the report. I'll be diving there next Saturday. This is my second season and not to familiar with the area. Is there a launch area? Was there a lot of kelp to deal with?

You have to pay a $7 entrance fee to the state park.  There is a road that goes down to the beach area and you can load and unload.  You have to park up on the bluff and walk back.  The kelp was not bad and we had to look for places to tie up the tubes.  Over all a good place and protected.
