Nice shots.  Now I know why they're called "large" mouth  :smt003

A good sized net works well as a temporary live-well while I set up my camera and such.  Most of the larger bass I've caught don't thrash around the net if I move quietly and don't rock the yak.

Thanks for the C&R.

I try to keep my crap to a minimum, but I still always end up with a ton of crap  :smt044 HB your idea of a net just gave me an idea. Maybe I'll bring my goody bag from diving. It's compact enough to pack away easily. I like to keep a low profile, so things don't hang up when go into tight spots. I've never used a net for bass. Just wouldn't seem right not grabbin' em by that big ol' lower lip  :smt002

The goody bag is a great idea.  I lip most of the bass I catch, except the big ones (why take chances?), or a fish a crankbait in its mouth, or stripers.

I have posted this before but if you want a net that doesn't take much room and is still big enough to do the job try making one like this.
