Need a new portable GPS unit....who can help me?

My Garmin Geko has died after over 900 miles of water time.

i remember a thread about a new one that has alot of cool features. I tried to search, but nothing found.

Please help if you can, I'm looking for a good one that will last.

No!!! i'm a cheap basturd with a tight budget.....that's why i need help.

I like my low budget Cuda 128 but if I got the $$$ I would get the Cuda 250 S/Map below:

My buddu who works with GPS for a living says Garmin is the only way to go.  I like my GPS60, but I wish I had bought the GPS MAP 60...  It's around $200, and does the mapping features.

GARMIN ETREX LEGEND HCX     is the one i've been told is best....what does the group think?......do i need some type of other $$$ software to get the Ocean Bottom (new google thing?)

Sorry Adam, I had a brain freezed this morning.  You're looking for a GPS not a FF like I thought!

I have a Garmin 60CSx I bought off a friend with topo and ocean maps for a steal of a price.  This one may not be color, but if it has the same GPS tech in it, freeking thing works EVERYWHERE!  I kept it in my hatch and it tracked my route for days on two AA's.

Got mine (GPSMap60) via Amazon. No tax and free shipping. I think I paid about $160 for it.
