There seems to be some interest in the Scupper pro TW these days so I thought I would post this crate I made out of some fairly cheap stuff. The opening in the tank well area on the TW is 11 by 13. There is not a crate made that I could find that were these dimensions. I went from store to store looking for something. Plastic boxes, Milk crates. I cut down a milk crate and glued it together but it looked like shit. Finally I was at K-mart and found a playmate cooler that had the bottom dimensions I needed. Perfect fit. I then ripped the lid off and went to OPS and bought 2 berkeley rod holders. Mounted these to each end of the cooler and trimmed them some to fit the contour of the well. Viola, new crate. And the factory OC straps go right over the cooler to hold it in. What do you think? Craig.
