After a five hour meal at the French Laundry on Monday night I had to get out and burn some energy!  Tuesday Lisa and I put in at Kennedy Park to beat the heat (Napa River) and found ourselves smack in the middle of the biggest man hunt I have ever seen.  Must have been 50 police cars in the area, and both the CHP Heli and plane circling for hours!  I trolled as usual to no avail, but nice day with my lady on the water (see pic).
Spent the night Tuesday night on the boat and we headed from Sausalito to Loch Lomond Bait then to China Camp.  Caught a ray and a shark while on the phone working then the tide turned and it got UGLY out there!  Must have been 25-30 kt wind and once the tide started out it stacked the wind waves like you have never seen before.   There were a few smaller boats that were crazy to be out there, talked to one grady behind angel island who said he had never seen such conditions!   Glad I was on the mother ship and kept the kayaks on top of the suburban!

this one gives you an idea of the rollers, it would not have been a good day to be on the yak!

Just looks like a back rest, the straps for the seat keep you in front of it, but it is nice to "fall back on" if you need to!

Wow...that's some serious wind waves.  Thanks for the report and pictures.

you know it is rough when you are getting water on the wind shield every couple of seconds in a 36 GB!  Just got my Bass pro shop order in, now where do I pull these little rascals around on a leash the next few days?
