coastside halibut derby

Do any of you know if kayaks can compeat in the coastside club OPM_classic halibut derby I did not see anything in the rules

Base on the Entry Registration form, looks like it's for boats but nothing said about kayak so I think it worths a phone call to find out.  Sound like a fun event!
