Hey everyone,
Mel Cotton's is having our annual spring fishing expo on Saturday and Sunday April 4th and 5th. We'll have a big sale insert and coupon up in early April so stay tuned for that and our schedule of speakers melcottons.com. For those who haven't come out before, it's always a real fun time.

+1 for these guys! Bought my Trevala from them yesterday and they were very helpful in the process. Don't forget your 20% off coupon.

That's not a particularly readable coupon.

Here is a better quality one in the PDF file.

Just bought a Citica combo with 14 lb stren last night.  Marked down from 169.99 to 119.99.  No 20% b/c it was already a markdown. Cant wait to try it out.

As for kayaking stuff, I really wanted to buy a Hobie Sail Kit and turbo fin upgrade.  They have none of those in stock, will be getting inventory next week.  Right now, the back room is still loaded with ski stuff.

They have a promar net with collapsible stock for $24.99.  Might be a good buy with 1/5 off if you need a net.

Martin,

Is the net the one that fold down (the net end) or is it just the one that the handle slides up?

ain't the collapsible one, no folding of the net itself.  The handle slides up into the net, with the net maintaining a fixed config.

I don't think they have a folding promar, at least I couldn't find one on the floor.

Yeah, I've been eyeing a net too.  For me, more important than folding down is that it has a rubber net and I know that MC's carries them.  May have to pick one up.

YES... The rubber net is SOOOOOO nice ;)  I'm looking to get a replacement rubber net for a normal one I bought, that folds in half.  Love the design, cant stand the normal net though...
