I've decided to cancel this at least until another time - just not enough interest, even from my own crew (please see my post at the end of thread).

Thanks,

Dave

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Mickfish:  Hmm... I would have to choose the same day as the CSBA thing in Mendo.  I'm hoping to do at least 2 of these between now and end of June.

futhel:  The pond is nearly 4 miles long and averages about 1/8 mile wide.  I think we measured it by map at 25 acres.  It's a long thin-ish shape with tons of structure.

Not to threadjack, but I believe that FW derby is Sunday, May 17.  I could be wrong though.

I too can't make the May 2nd date but hope to make a later date.  Simply put, this sounds awesome.

Well, unfortunately there is just too much going on on the 2nd - or folks aren't interested in doing this.  In any case, I couldn't drum enough business.  Even guys on my crew were whining about going to the Beer Festival in Boonville on the 2nd.

So, I'm going to cancel this thing and possibly try for another time.  I'm still convinced that Yak-fishing is the way to do this job. For those that were interested, I thank you and maybe we'll try it again later.
