5 hours of trolling Rapalas, misc. spinners, dropping power bait and worms and no trout love
great weather and scenery, windy till noon, then glass.

Sounds like Whiskeytown to me!  Sure beats work though, glad you made it out.  Keep at it, you'll get 'em.

Too bad the fish didn't cooperate.  We definately need to work on the downrigger idea.

I think I am going to take the family up there tomorrow.  I got the day off due to some last minute shift adjustments.  A little family day on the water, which means very little fishing for me.  Oh well, it will be fun with the daughter.  My wife wants some practice on her hobie.  We will likely be around oak bottom, if you are in the area  .
