Qualifier 105 Mothership Trips

The Qualifier 105 has been offering Kayakers the "Long Range Experience" for the last 5 years on trips of 1 1/2 days to 8 days in duration. The 2009 schedule has 6 trips with positions for kayakers. During May and June the Q will offer 3 short trips 1 1/2 & 2 1/2 trips to San Clemente and one 8 day trip to Benitas. In September of 2009 we will offer 2 trips, a 2 1/2 day trip to San Clemente and a 7 day trip to Cedros and Benitas. If you haver any questions call the Qualifier 105 office @ 619 223 2786

San Clemente is cool, but in my experience it aint worth it for us for that short of a time period...its a long ways to SD.

Cedros and Benitos are loaded with yellowtail.

I hear you.  If you plan on going just make sure to give yourself a day or 2 at LJ to round it out.

Seven days seems like a long time until you actually make a long range trip, the time just flies by.  Probably one of the most common statements by our anglers at the end of a trip is, "I feel like I just got on board the Qualifier and now we are headed home"  Our kayak trips to Cedros and Benitos Islands The Home of the Yellowtail!) are filled with long days of fishing and if you are just yaked out, we are always fishing the big boat when the little boats are out. Five star food in the galley, a stateroom with TV's and DVD's, Hot showers and great new friends that are all into Fishing.  Hard to beat.

I am stoked to be a sponsor of The NorCal Kayak Anglers Tournament and if you have any questions about the Qualifier 105 please feel free to give me a call at 619 223 2786.  If I don't answer the phone please tell the office staff you are from The NorCal Kayak Anglers and you will get through. Graet fishing to everyone this year.

Thanks John Klein

Post Script to my post.  If you are coming from Nor Cal to fish on the 2 1/2 day San Clemente trips you will Fish a late afternoon on Friday, all day on Saturday and a final Sunday morning run before returning to San Diego.  We have tried to maximize fishing time and it is a great price.  If you want to extend and expand your trip and your horizons book a La Jolla trip with Jim Salmons or Morgan Promnitz.  Thanks again and have fun fishing
