I'm a member of the North American Fishing Club.  This season they conduct a Knot Wars, a head-to-head competition to determine the best fishing knots for monofilament, super lines and the new flourocarbons. Hope you enjoy this:

I am a uni guy. Seems to hold fine can be used as a direct knot, loop knot, or line to line

I used the Trilene last year and it worked great.
