I am in Roseville until the end of March on an assignment for work.

While I am here, I'd like to make it to Tahoe (and/or Donner) and the Delta.

I'll post a hookup when I decide to go.

In the Sacramento area as well.  Live Roseville, work Davis.  I've got every other Friday off thanks to a bunch of idiots at the Capital.  Fish anywhere, for anything.  Delta, Sierra Lakes, Lake Natoma, Folsom puddle, Sac, American, Feather.  Trout, bass, stripper, salmon, steelhead (haven't gone for Sturgeon on my yak yet).  Also fly fish.

Watch yourself if your thinking of anchoring off in the Sacramento River, especially with this run off,

Lots of debris flowing down that river, Not to mention the snags on the bottom that will take your anchor and if your not quick release and good at it....

Ya might put me to work and we both don't want that.... :smt002

 Danger!!!!

Again another shot might be "Barge Canal Access",  might be some lunkers making their way up the shipping channel and taking a rest there,  you would be able to anchor safely there...

took me a while to get sign'ed on ... but would love to hook up in/around the Sacramento area. I spend a lot of time at Folsom cuz it is close to the house ... but have fished AR, Sacramento river, the Port, Rancho Seco and a few others as well.

Thinking about hitting the American after work either on Wednesday or Thursday for an hour or two(there's suppose to be a break in the weather)or if that doesn't pan out possibly this weekend. Lets hope the river will be above 800 CFS by then.
I fished Saturday morning for a couple of hours and hooked up for 5 seconds but nada for the rest of the morning.

I will most likely go Thursday theres suppose to be a decent break in the weather and almost no wind.Wedesday looks pretty crappy. I am going to go this weekend too if your available. PM me and I'll fill you in on the details.Do you have a drift anchor set up?

Lets hope these flows keep rising and the river goes up.
