well got a hall pass this morning to go play, first one in a few weeks so headed to china camp. got on the water around 10:15 with a little rain and wind but it quieted down pretty quick and the sun poked out every once in a while. turned out to be a slow day, only the bullheads were hungry today, and boy were they ever. the wind would start gusting pretty good every once in a while not enough to bring up white caps but was alittle choppy at times. moved several times but no luck. on the last anchor all of a sudden there were bait fish busting everywhere and the two black eyes staring at me from twenty feet off the bow, nice big seal cruising through so called it a day and was off the water around 2:45 and headed home. that makes it 0-9 in '09.

Bwodun -

Thanks for the report. I feel for you.

Sturgeon fishing has really given me time to learn every function on my fishfinder, camera, gps, etc. .

Keep with it.

Those clouds look just great. It must have been nice anyway. I am envious. There is going to be a good tide on the 8th of March. One last hurrah for China Camp and then its Montezuma.
